We are seeking an AI Server Test Engineer to join a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.
The AI Server Test Engineer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing test procedures for AI server products in both development and production environments. This role ensures product quality, reliability, and compliance with engineering specifications through rigorous testing, data analysis, and continuous process improvement. The engineer works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and drive operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Testing & Quality Assurance (80%)
- Develop, coordinate, and execute test plans and validation procedures for AI server products during development and manufacturing.
- Perform quality control testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet established performance, reliability, and quality standards.
- Gather and analyze technical information related to materials, components, and assemblies used in production.
- Design and document testing methodologies, operating procedures, and acceptance criteria for new and existing products.
- Develop and implement systems for collecting, monitoring, and analyzing test data.
- Conduct functional, performance, reliability, and system-level testing of AI server platforms.
- Evaluate test results, identify trends, and determine compliance with product specifications and customer requirements.
- Investigate product failures and test anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
- Continue testing and validation activities until products consistently meet quality, reliability, and performance requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing test methodologies, findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures that support ongoing production and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions that reduce testing time, improve efficiency, lower costs, and maintain or enhance product quality.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience testing server, data center, AI, HPC, or enterprise computing hardware.
- Knowledge of manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing, data collection, scripting, and test validation tools.
- Familiarity with server components including CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, networking, and power systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.
